99% of protein supplements contain artificial sweeteners. We prefer the more natural approach and use only natural sweeteners. Our main sweetener is stevia, it is an all-natural herbal sweetener that has virtually no calories and no glycemic effect, so it doesn't spike blood sugar levels.

It's my top choice for natural sweeteners. The other sweetener is xylitol, it is a great tasting sweetener that comes from the birch tree. It has a very low glycemic index and doesn't spike blood sugar levels. Xylitol is also anti-bacterial. It actually helps prevent dental cavities. We use xylitol mainly as a flavour enhancer.
